Trailing “Gremlins” vibes, “Dust Bunny” is essentially a darker, kid version of “Léon: The Professional.” Writer, producer, and showrunner Bryan Fuller (“Hannibal,” “Pushing Daisies”) herewith makes his feature directorial debut, clearly intending this fantasy-horror film as a twee, macabre fairy tale for the whole family.
