TAICHUNG, Taiwan—Lin Tsangmin, Kuomintang legislator, was at Divine Performing Art (DPA) 2009 World Tour performance in Taichung on March 6.
He said that DPA rolled culture, belief, and education into one. Mr. Lin has been actively involved in education promotion. He has been trying to decrease the gap between the quality of education in villages and cities.
He said that he felt honored to attend DPA, as it displayed the beauty of Chinese culture. Particularly during the times of global recession, DPA should be extensively promoted to every village on Earth to embrace the traditional virtues.
He said that people start to panic as the economy goes down, because people focus too much on their material needs rather than on spiritual fulfillment.
Prestigious Photographer: ‘Best show I’ve seen so far’
Mr. Chian has been invited to various exhibitions worldwide, including France, Slovenia, Croatia, and Taiwan.
Honored as a top ten photographer in the world several times, and ranked fourth in 1989, he is currently the owner of International Image Studio, photographer instructor of Chung Chou Institute of Technology, Yuenlin Community University and Wu-Chan Community University of Taichung.
Upon watching DPA, he said, “DPA was the best show I’ve seen so far.”
He has watched DPA for two consecutive years. He said that DPA’s colors were very high quality. They must have been designed by top experts. He was particularly astounded by the program Welcoming Spring.
“The stage effect was astonishingly beautiful. The hundreds of blossoms just opened together. The colors were gorgeous. The few short minutes manifested such a cheerful and joyful atmosphere.”
He was very impressed by the integration between the dancers and the backdrops. He said that Chinese classical dance is elegant. “This is truly promoting Chinese culture.”
