A pizzeria in Springfield, Missouri, is looking for a man who broke into their business on Aug. 18 and stole a donation jar for a breast cancer foundation.

Jax and Gabe’s Pizzeria posted  CCTV footage of the alleged thief on their Facebook page.

“Around 4:00 am this morning (8-18-18), This person decided to break into the restaurant and steal the Breast Cancer Donation jar,” the Facebook post said.

In the video, the man can be seen breaking into the glass before unlocking the door. The man then grabs something inside the shop. More than $300 was taken, according to Ozarks First.
“I felt violated, like someone came into my home,” Jason Bappe, the owner of the pizza restaurant, told the Springfield News-Leader. “Never in my wildest dreams would I think that someone would come in and take that, which was my mistake.”

Bappe believes the thief was a recent customer. “Obviously he'd been in here at some point and saw that full donation jar and decided he was going to come back and get that jar,” Bappe said.

The suspect then is seen carrying something that looks like a jar before running out.

The restaurant later wrote on Facebook that they were able to raise back the money that was stolen. The footage had over 500 shares and over 28,000 views on Facebook at the time of this publication.
