BURGOS, Spain—On March 19, 2026, Shen Yun presented its third performance of the season in Burgos, a historic city in northern Spain, at the Fórum Evolución Theater. Among those in attendance was Alberto Iglesias Ruiz, a process engineer at a multinational company and mayor of the nearby town of Cardeñajimeno. After the performance, he described the experience as both engaging and visually striking.
“For someone who is not a dance expert, I find it an entertaining show,” Mr. Iglesias said. “I can’t go into much technical detail, as I’m not a specialist, but it’s enjoyable—a great way to spend time—and highly recommended.”
“I particularly like the colorfulness of the performances, especially the female ones, the costumes,” he said. “And in the male part, especially the movements—the difficulty of many of the movements performed in the show.” He added that the performers’ level was “high.”
He also found the use of color throughout the performance especially uplifting.
“They bring a real joy to the show—it’s brilliant. I don’t know, they’re very eye-catching, very eye-catching,” he said.
“Very good. I’m not exactly a music expert myself—I only have a basic grounding in music—but I love the synchronization between movement, music, and color; it’s spectacular,” Mr. Iglesias said.
