SÃO PAULO, Brazil—On the evening of May 1, U.S.-based Shen Yun International Company presented its second performance of the season at Teatro Bradesco in São Paulo, Brazil. Former dentist and current business owner in the foreign trade industry Andréa Baldin Amêndola Freitas attended the performance with her husband. Afterward, she said the performance gave her the feeling that “the Creator has already arrived” and that Shen Yun’s artists perform “with God beside them.”

The name Shen Yun means “the beauty of divine beings dancing.” Ms. Freitas said she could genuinely sense the divine presence on stage.

“Oh yes, I saw it,” she said. “The feeling was very strong.”

She explained that the experience awakened memories of her past visit to China.

“I went to China once, and I loved it,” Ms. Freitas said. “It was an incredible experience, and everything I saw here today reminded me of that trip. It felt as if I were returning to China.”

Ms. Freitas said Shen Yun combines artistic beauty with powerful emotional and spiritual expression, and she attributed the performers’ achievement to their discipline and inner cultivation.

“The synchronization between the orchestra and the dance deeply touches our hearts and souls,” Ms. Freitas said. “I feel that God is there with them, because they must have tremendous discipline to reach this level. Their inner calm and meditation will guide them toward whatever they need to achieve.”

“People are doing too many wrong things, and morality is deteriorating,” she said. “Falun Dafa and Shen Yun dancers appear at a time when all the negative things are on earth right now.”

She also praised the overall visual presentation of the performance.
