Stepping out of the AT&T Performing Arts Center on Jan. 5, Mr. Paulk had high praise for the show’s beauty and thought it was “very nice to be able to experience and learn a little bit about another culture.”
“[Classical Chinese dance] is a fantastic art form and a beautiful dance,” he said. “I really appreciated [the opportunity] to take a moment and take it all in and remember that there is much more than just yourself.”
“This all was amazing. All the movements, the dancing, the colors, and the choreography has been excellent,” Mr. Paulk said enthusiastically.
Seamlessly blending the grandeur of a Western orchestra with the ethereal beauty of Chinese melodies, Shen Yun musicians produce a profound emotional range that captures the depth of the human experience.
“It’s a nice expression of what they believe in and what they feel. It’s all presented in a very beautiful way,” he said, adding that the night made him feel that we could all “appreciate one another a little bit more.”
“It’s amazing to see that everyone, from the orchestra to the dancers, has [put in] a lifetime of work and dedication to perfect what they do,” he stated. “They are at the highest level.”
