She thought the evening performance was “lovely and visually spectacular.”
“I lived in Las Vegas for a number of years, and I’ve seen [Shen Yun] advertised several times. This year, I just decided to take it in,” she said.
Based in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts is comprised of a series of short pieces that take its audience on a journey through the dynasties and across the vast regions of China.
Referring to Shen Yun’s digital backdrop that seamlessly interacts with the performers on stage to create an immersive experience for the audience, Ms. Madole said it was “very different, very unique, and interesting.”
Shen Yun’s mission is to bring back China’s 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture and showcase to the world the beauty of China before communism.
The company is expected to return with a brand new set of choreography, stories, and musical compositions every year.
Ms. Madole believes that Shen Yun’s goal to uphold timeless values such as truthfulness and kindness has “never been more important” to our society than now.
She will be recommending the show to everyone she knows, telling them about Shen Yun’s “artistry, magic, and the folklore of China.”
