LUBLIN, Poland—On Jan. 18, the American company Shen Yun Performing Arts gave its final performance in Poland, in Lublin. Shen Yun’s tour in Poland concluded with great success. The company achieved an impressive result of 14 performances, all to full houses. Shen Yun’s magnificent and majestic spectacle, along with its profound spiritual content, deeply touched Polish audiences and served as a source of inspiration.
Ms. Agnieszka Głębicka said: “I didn’t expect [the Shen Yun performance] to have such a strong connection [with God], so for me this image completes the whole, and the impression is even more powerful when the dance, the music, and the entire [spiritual] content are perfectly combined.”
Mr. Andrzej Rozmus said, “I am very pleasantly surprised by the entire splendor of this performance. A very good orchestra, beautiful costumes, and especially the dance. The craftsmanship of the dancers is truly captivating.”
His wife, Ms. Małgorzata Rozmus, said: “The costumes were very colorful, airy, and light. They gave such a feeling that we were being transported, as if into a kind of fairy tale.”
Mr. Faisal Menia stated: “They were full of energy, and they were transmitting this energy to the people who were watching. [You] could feel it. And also, they transmitted a lot of emotions to us. Even without any words, without speaking, I could feel the emotions through the performance. It was amazing.”

Ms. Głębicka expressed great appreciation for Shen Yun’s revival of the beauty of 5,000 years of Chinese culture: “Yes, the value [of the performance] is enormous, because Chinese culture truly carries many, many years of history and is somewhat different from European culture, so it is worth getting to know. Above all, the content was very interesting, and there were references to God and to creation, so the entire content was very engaging.”
Many audience members were deeply moved by Shen Yun’s spiritual message. As reported by the organizers, more than three hundred people in Poland purchased the book Zhuan Falun, the main text of the Falun Dafapractice.
Mr. Rozmus said: “Yes, I think that you can certainly find many analogies [between Eastern and Western cultures]. Despite cultural differences, we also have many things in common. Some values are simply timeless and can be applied to all people.”
Ms. Sara Bartoń-Menia said, “I am surprised by the philosophy and the presence of God in all these stories. I didn’t know that in China, this exists to such an extent. It’s a pity that now it is being suppressed by communism.”
Mr. Faisal Menia added: “For me, it was written in Polish, I didn’t understand that much. But there were a few sentences that [my wife] translated for me, like the importance of being close to God and the importance of believing in God. That’s what we all believe.”

Mr. Rozmus said, “Yes, it is very sad that the Chinese government simply ignores such a great culture and does not acknowledge it, even though it knows that it possesses such a heritage. It is all very distressing. Well, it’s all because of communism. We had something similar here [in Poland].”
Mr. Menia said, “I believe in freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom of thinking, and it feels really sad for me as an individual. I wish it could improve, and that people could believe in whatever they want to believe in, think whatever they want to think. We are in a century of freedom where everybody can say, think, and believe whatever they want, and it’s really sad that it is still like this in this situation. Hopefully, in the future, it can change.”
Audience members wholeheartedly thanked Shen Yun for presenting the truth and showcasing Chinese culture. They assured that they would certainly recommend the performance to their family and friends.
Mr. Menia said, “Yes, I would encourage the Shen Yun artists to continue being brave, as they are. They came here to Poland and transmitted the message they wanted to transmit. That’s really brave, and I encourage them to continue showing the world what people are going through in China and to show their beautiful culture. I love seeing different cultures and learning about them. What they are doing is amazing, it takes a lot of effort, and I congratulate them for that.”
Ms. Głębicka expressed her feelings as follows: “I strongly encourage [everyone to see Shen Yun], because you can’t experience this on television. You have to feel it, you have to experience it live.”
Ms. Rozmus said, “I encourage everyone and recommend the Shen Yun performance to everybody. It is something beautiful, something wonderful—an unforgettable experience. I will, of course, share this when I go home with my daughters, my children, my acquaintances, and I will recommend it to everyone who can take advantage of it and come to this performance.”
Ms. Bartoń-Menia concluded: “You definitely have to see the Shen Yun performance and come. I think we will take advantage of such an opportunity again someday if [Shen Yun] comes to Poland.”
