SAN LORENZO DE EL ESCORIAL, Spain—Miguel Zurita, who serves as director general at a government agency, attended the Shen Yun performance at the Teatro Auditorio San Lorenzo de El Escorial on Feb. 27.
Mr. Zurita said, “The entire ensemble was wonderful, perfectly coordinated, and truly artistic.”
Mr. Zurita said he appreciates this message. “It is very important,” he said. “The messages delivered by both the tenor and the soprano were magnificent. We appreciate that they put the translation on the screen.”
He continued to say that the artistic director “has achieved his goal, which I believe was to reach us, to give a message [through] art.”
He also commended the live Shen Yun Orchestra, which he said “was a wonderful mix between Western and Asian instruments—wonderful as a whole.”
Classical Chinese dance, with a wide range of movements and thousands of years of history, is an expressive art form. Shen Yun’s dance drama tells stories from the ancient past to today, expressing a plethora of emotions and meanings.
