Brigitte Stumpner, the president of Austria’s premier summer operetta Lehár Festival at Bad Ischl, said, “I found this performance absolutely enchanting. It transported me to a completely different world, and I am very, very impressed.”
“We’re both completely blown away. I loved the music, it was truly a dream. And the dancers were incredible,” author Ela Köppel said.
“Beautiful, truly beautiful. So many colors, so much artistry, and simply a top-class program. These movements and everything are just beautiful. It’s truly enchanting,” real estate agent Manuela Stöckel said.
Pascal Ernst, a bank risk analyst, said, “It was truly wonderful, especially the lightness of the dances and jumps, and of course the visual effects. The jumping out of the frame, out of the picture, that was really lovely. And of course, the live accompaniment of the orchestra made it truly beautiful.”
Andrea Schuster, a therapist, said, “I think [values] provide stability. Passing these stories on provides stability for a society or for the generations.”
Mr. Ernst said, “People often have a different image of China. It’s wonderful when traditional values and dances are brought to the world.”
Ms. Stumpner said, “I think the main message is one of peace and justice. That’s actually the big message I’m taking with me today.”
