TAIWAN—On the afternoon of Feb. 8, the Shen Yun New Era Company presented its third performance at Taichung’s Zhongshan Hall in Taiwan, which was once again sold out. This performance also signified the conclusion of a sold-out Shen Yun tour in Taiwan for 2026.

From Dec. 30, 2025, to Feb. 8, 2026, the New York-based company gave 33 performances across seven cities in Taiwan.

As the tour wrapped up in Taichung, a sudden cold front arrived, causing the temperatures to plummet. Despite the frigid conditions, many ticketless patrons braved the cold, hoping for a last chance to secure a seat. In response to the overwhelming demand, the presenter made additional reserved seats available.

Some audience members shared that, after learning about Shen Yun’s uplifting energy, they came specifically to experience it; others described the experience as something “to be cherished in heart,” while some expressed “respect and admiration for Chinese culture.”

Li Guoxian, the CEO of the Asia IoT Alliance, said of Shen Yun’s use of a patented special effect with digital projection, “It was quite astounding, actually, because combining dance drama with the dynamic backdrop creates a completely new visual sensation.”
Li emphasized that Shen Yun not only merges classical dance with cutting-edge technology but also distills thousands of years of Chinese history and culture into short dance dramas. “I’ve never seen a production like this before—one that integrates technology with culture while presenting China’s rich historical heritage through short dramas, making it exceptionally comprehensible.”

Li remarked that the performance showcased years of accumulated stage skills by the performers and the high caliber of the production team.

He highly praised Shen Yun’s live orchestra. “The live music truly makes a difference,” he said. “The music resonates powerfully with the visuals as the storyline unfolds, creating an astounding point between what you hear and what you see—something cannot be experienced in a regular video. You have to be present in person to witness it.”
Regarding the portrayal of Falun Gong persecution in communist China, Li openly stated this is precisely why Shen Yun is priceless. “This is something the world should know the truth about,” he said. He noted that many media reports on related events are incomplete, whereas presenting the story through stage art enables a broader international audience to grasp the realities.

On a spiritual level, Li shared how Shen Yun inspired him to reflect on life and personal growth. “We humans actually originate from the divine, but many, caught up in the hustle of worldly life, forget that self-improvement is essential.”

He said some of the stories made him reflect on how modern people are often distracted by their external surroundings and lose sight of their genuine inner direction.

“You must calm your mind, listen carefully to your inner voice, and ask yourself: What is the purpose of my existence in this world?” he said.

In his role as an educator, Li expressed that Shen Yun reinforced his belief in the significance of “educating the world and sharing the truth.”

“Just as I impact the upcoming generation through my teaching,” he said, “Shen Yun subtly inspires audiences through stage art.  I will recommend more students and parents to experience it.”

Biotech CEO Luo Shengyi began by congratulating Shen Yun on its 20th anniversary, stating, “Happy 20th birthday.” He candidly admitted that “it’s hard to describe in words” his feelings after watching Shen Yun, because “with every Shen Yun performance, we can only grasp its essence intuitively.”

In his heart, Shen Yun “is not merely an artistic performance, but more a spiritual legacy.” Shen Yun presents “such an exceptionally high-level artistic performance and such profound cultural depth to all audiences,” Mr. Luo said, which earns his sincere admiration.

Mr. Luo shared that every Shen Yun performance leaves him “deeply moved.” Whether it’s the music, the overall visuals, or the performers’ expressions, everything resonates profoundly. “This isn’t something that can be achieved by merely ‘decades of practice offstage’ to deliver that ten-minute masterpiece onstage.”

Mr. Luo expressed his deep gratitude to Shen Yun, saying that while many artworks or antiques are considered priceless treasures, Shen Yun artists are “living art”—all deeply dedicated and truly worthy of appreciation.

‘Spiritual Replenishment’

“It’s indeed extraordinary—a fusion of Eastern and Western elements: the integration of classical and modern (technology) is brilliantly executed to perfection!” remarked Dr. Liao Cheng-xi, chief physician at the Armed Forces General Hospital in Taichung, following the performance. “Everyone was deeply touched!” “Whether male or female dancers, their fusion of strength and beauty, along with their flexibility, was truly masterful—absolutely breathtaking!”
“What’s truly remarkable is the fusion of East and West—incorporating Western (technological) techniques while blending traditional Chinese beauty. Whether in dance or martial arts; even within the live orchestra, they seamlessly integrate well-known Chinese instruments ... with Western violins, cellos, and wind instruments,” he said.

“Shen Yun’s patented dynamic backdrop technology is particularly impressive. Through animated visuals, dancers seamlessly integrate their movements with the backdrop. Though no words are spoken. ... The collective emotions and the gentle laughter of children showed that all individuals appreciated the performance on a profound level,” he added.

“Brilliantly radiant!” “Deeply inspired!” Liao said. “Shen Yun embodies the perfect realm of truth, goodness, and beauty through dance, fluid movements, music, vibrant colors, dynamic backdrops, and stage design—all radiating positive energy.” He continued, “It’s dazzlingly bright and colorful. The generous use of light is superb; light dispels darkness and evil. The entire performance radiates positivity, always promoting goodness.”

Liao Chengxi continued, “As a Christian, I naturally resonate with the spiritual realm. Whenever I close my eyes, I can sense God and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. When I am moved, I feel guided by God—it’s profoundly touching.”

Liao spoke of the spiritual inspiration he received: “Watching this performance, I fully grasped that layer of meaning—how it allows our souls, bodies, and the realms of truth, goodness, and beauty to achieve a perfect union. It was a profound spiritual revelation, a tremendous replenishment for me!”

“When the final images appeared, it felt like God was communicating with us! It requires our hearts and minds to be in harmony with Him,” Liao remarked. “If you are sincere—for sincerity moves the divine. ... I believe He is the God of every one of us and will come to save us.”

As a physician, Liao felt deeply affected by the reality of Falun Gong practitioners being subjected to forced organ harvesting by the Chinese Communist Party. “To imprison a perfectly healthy person like that, or to do such things to them— I believe this is wrong. Society must have a kind and positive side, so I encourage everyone to sincerely connect with the divine and strive to be a consistently good person.”

Liao concluded by praising Shen Yun for its two decadesof unwavering dedication, tirelessly spreading seeds of kindness and enlightenment worldwide. “Shen Yun truly is a miracle. The divine watches over and protects those who do good deeds. The divine will make you shine brightly!”

Audience feedback on the 2026 Shen Yun performances in Taiwan revealed a striking commonality: many felt the show served as a bridge between divine energy and humanity.

Following the conclusion of its Taiwan tour, Shen Yun will proceed to South Korea, marking the next stop on its Asian tour.
