Christophe Marteau, a chemical engineer, said, “It’s unique. I truly think it’s one of a kind in the world. You absolutely have to go see this show; you definitely won’t be disappointed. We’re getting chills, almost with tears in our eyes, and you can really feel the Chinese culture. It’s sensational.”
Didier Adamik, a former postal mail center director, said, “I think it really captures the entire history of China both from a traditional and modern perspective. Every stage of life in China is well represented by the dancers, and the singers are amazing. The soprano and the baritone, such exceptional singing. I really, really appreciated it. It was great.”
Christelle Hureau, an insurance company executive, said, “It’s absolutely wonderful, vibrant with color. I also really appreciated the mix of dance and singing, accompanied by piano. And it takes you on a journey, traveling across China and through different eras.
“It’s genuinely magical and captivating. It’s a beautiful performance, and I highly recommend everyone come to see it. It’s truly fantastic, such a beautiful discovery, such a beautiful journey.”
Mr. Marteau added, “It’s an opening to Eastern culture. It really makes us reflect because, in fact, we’re not just spectators. We also become part of everything happening on stage.”
“It’s an emotional experience with every scene. You can clearly recognize the Chinese nature of the performers. And the presentations are flawless,” Mr. Marteau said. “My whole family is moved. The three of us came, and honestly, there wasn’t a moment without emotion.”
Mr. Adamik said, “There were a few scenes from Chinese life, I have to say, that almost brought a tear to my eye. It’s so moving, how they manage to represent life from that era through dance. It was a deeply emotional experience.”
Mr. Adamik added, “You can really feel that all the characters have a sense of goodness and a celestial quality that comes from somewhere else. “
Ms. Hureau said, “The dancers always have a smile on their faces and there’s this gentleness in their movements. It really brings out a sense of kindness, and you can’t help but smile along with them throughout the entire show.”
“It’s truly a divine experience here at the Palais des Congrès, it’s sensational. It’s about the kindness of everyone, and it’s like a communion with the spirit of the Heavens,” Mr. Marteau said.
