PHILADELPHIA—Joseph and Andrea Holtman were impressed with the beauty and depth of Shen Yun Performing Arts when they saw it at the Miller Theater on May 10.
“I think the dancing, the costumes and the integration with the backdrop, the technology is very well done,” said Mr. Holtman, a vice president in the energy sector. Mrs. Holtman said it was “absolutely beautiful” and also had a message “of the history and the spiritual message about keeping the history of China and how the people started.”
“Everyone should see this. It’s a fantastic production,” Mr. Holtman said.
“I see a lot of similarities in terms of things that all people value. But I also see the beauty of the Chinese homeland here in the backdrops and the pride that the free people of China have for their homeland,” Mr. Holtman said.
“They’re beautiful. Their performance is magnificent,” Mrs. Holtman said. Mr. Holtman agreed. “Their training and their dedication really shows. It’s a beautiful production.”
“The quality of the artistry” most impressed Mr. Kotlar, he said. “The performers are dedicated, you can feel their energy coming across.”
