“The coordination of what you see, the performers on stage, with the music. And we’re really struck by the electronic aspect, what you see on the screen in the background. That perfect coordination of when it fades in and out, that’s something to admire,” physician Dr. José Rodolfo Muñoz Herazo said.
Epifanío Jesús Ponce García, a lawyer, told Shen Yun “to keep doing what they’re doing because the work they do is wonderful.”
“They are doing a wonderful job. They have impeccable coordination. I’m very glad they brought this performance here,” Macarena Romero Romero, a financial professional, said.
“When they speak of the depth of the essence of human nature, such as the meaning of life, there’s a message there—very profound and philosophical—and they manage to convey it there. What they say about the first emperor in ancient times, and then the contrast with the current religious persecution in China, moves you,” Dr. Herazo said.
From ancient myths and legends, to modern-day stories of persecution, Shen Yun exposes the human rights atrocities of state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting taking place in China today against prisoners of conscience.
Dr. Herazo said, “Given my profession as a doctor, one can’t help but feel it’s an ethical, bioethical issue. It’s unbelievable that this is happening.”
Mr. Garcia said, “You’re going to have a wonderful time. A wonderful time because it’s so enjoyable visually, with the music, with everything. It’s a marvel, a total marvel.”
“[You] shouldn’t hesitate to come, [and you] should come relaxed, prepared with an open mind, to enjoy [yourself] and unwind,” Dr. Herazo said. “Even after it ends, you keep thinking about everything in a positive way.”
