COPENHAGEN, Denmark— “We feel satisfied and safeguarded (by a divine presence),” said Michael Spenner and his wife, Anastassia Spenner, describing their experience after watching Shen Yun Performing Arts.

On the afternoon of April 1, the couple attended the Shen Yun performance at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. They described the performance as filled with a powerful and sacred energy that flowed throughout the theater, touching every audience member and lifting their spirits.

The Spenners, who live on the island of Møn, 85 kilometers south of Copenhagen, are both healers with psychic abilities. They also work as psychotherapists, spiritual guides, and authors, running a counseling and healing practice.

Mrs. Spenner described the performance as “incredibly beautiful.” She further elaborated, “First of all, we like the storytelling and the spiritual essence of the performance, as well as the presentation of ancient virtues. The historical elements were presented wonderfully, too.”

Mr. Spenner fully agreed with his wife’s observations. “The spirituality and the energy in it—since we work with energy ourselves, the performance harmonizes very well with our work,” he said.

The name Shen Yun means “the beauty of divine beings dancing.” Based in New York, performing group is the world’s premier classical Chinese dance and music company, with a mission to revive 5,000 years of China’s divinely inspired heritage and share with audiences the beauty of China before communism.

As psychics, the Spenners felt the divine energy emanating from the Shen Yun stage. Mr. Spenner said, “It’s a divine energy.”

They were also able to perceive the colors of this energy. Mr. Spenner described it as, “Gold, purple, and some silver threads.” Mrs. Spenner added, “And also orange, which represents creativity.”

The opening scene, in which the Creator summons countless divine beings to Earth, left a profound impression on Mrs. Spenner. She said it was at that moment, when the curtains rose, that she felt the most transcendent experience.

“At the very beginning, it was as if everything was lifted into the heavens,” she said. “The energy goes through everyone and fills the entire hall, even though it’s a large space. It completely covers everything.” She added that feeling this energy was truly overwhelming.

Both the husband and wife said the opening piece depicting the Creator’s arrival is “a beautiful story.”

As psychic healers, they strongly resonated with Shen Yun’s mission to revive traditional Chinese culture and values. Mrs. Spenner said, “Compassion. Compassion and virtue. That’s what the performance shows.”

Mr. Spenner added, “Persistence, sticking to the idea and the good. Empathy.” He went on to say that with the conclusion of each performance, the artists have actually had their “mission accomplished.”

The Spenners expressed deep respect for the artists and their dedication.

Mr. Spenner said, “This mission is important. Keep up the good work.”

Mrs. Spenner added, “The energy and the message of the performance are very precious. Please continue what you’re doing.”
