Shen Yun brings ancient legends and historical stories vividly to life on stage, with audience members saying they admired the dancers’ exceptional skill and dedication to their craft.
“I thought it was fantastic being a prior dancer myself,” Mr. Ray said. “I think people underestimate those moves there. They make it seem effortless. And it’s so much training and strength that goes into just a simple jump and glide.”
Mr. Risty said, “My four kids are all competitive gymnasts, and we’re just in awe watching them. Could our kids be like this someday? Their elegance and grace is great.”
“Obviously we love it. It falls right in with our Christian values. As a family, we homeschool our children, and the importance of God being shown through the performance is wonderful,” Mr. Risty said.
“Being a spiritual person myself, and especially with what we have going on in the world today, I thought it’s a much needed message,” Mr. Ray said. “It’s an awesome message.”
Gary Stewart, a pastor and author, said, “This is inspiring. Everyone should come see it. Even if you have to save your nickels, pennies, dimes, the quarters, whatever you can save, it’s worth every penny that you can to come see the show.”
