HIGH WYCOMBE, UK—On the afternoon of Feb. 25, Shen Yun Performing Arts presented its fourth performance in High Wycombe at the Wycombe Swan Theatre. Shen Yun’s annual Europe tour has become a highly anticipated cultural event for many theatergoers in the UK. Tickets sold out quickly, and the theater filled to capacity.
“Just wow—totally amazing!” said Steven Gurney after attending the performance. “Beautiful on the eyes. It’s just wow!”
Mr. Gurney, a car repairer who runs his own business, spoke highly of the experience and said it was well worth the wait.
“If you haven’t seen it, you don’t know what you’re missing,” Mr. Gurney said. “I’d been looking at it for a long, long time, waiting for it to get close enough for me to come and see it. I haven’t regretted one second. It’s totally beautiful—that’s really the only way you can describe it. It’s delightful on the eyes and beautiful.”
Mr. Gurney was particularly impressed by the dancers’ precision and timing.
“Timing—and how they do what they do—is totally amazing,” he said. “Especially the performer spinning round and round in circles. The amount of time it must take to become that superb is unbelievable. That’s how I see it.”
“I think it’s absolutely amazing—absolutely amazing,” he said. “The backdrop and how they bring everything to life—one minute it’s there, the next minute it’s somewhere else. To be quite honest, it’s blown me away.”
Mr. Gurney added that he would gladly recommend the performance to others.
Piano Teacher: ‘A Masterclass in Precision’

“It’s amazing—absolutely amazing!” said Aksana Liatytskaya, a piano teacher, after watching the performance.
Mesmerized by various artistic elements, she said: “I’m amazed at the incredible masterclass of precision, of musicality, of the acting, of the colors, of the textures. I’m amazed entirely. Thank you very much!”
Ms. Liatytskaya said the Water Sleeve dance was her favorite piece, noting that the long, flowing sleeves and the elegant costumes left a strong impression.
She said she would wholeheartedly recommend Shen Yun to her friends and colleagues.
“Oh, definitely, absolutely,” Ms. Liatytskaya said. “I’m coming back to work tomorrow, so I definitely will recommend it.”
