BUENOS AIRES, Argentina—On the afternoon of April 19, Shen Yun International Company presented its 10th performance at the Teatro Ópera in Buenos Aires, once again to a sold-out audience. Argentine National Congresswoman Sabrina Ajmechet praised the performance’s cultural richness, describing it as a visual feast that brought beauty and inner tranquility to the audience.
“Excellent! Congratulations!” she said. “Shen Yun beautifully showcases the cultural richness of the regions; it is truly a pleasure to watch.”
Ms. Ajmechet, an Argentine politician and historian who serves as a national congresswoman, also chairs the Human Rights Commission in the Chamber of Deputies and is president of the Argentine Forum Against Antisemitism (FACA).
She spoke highly of the performers’ skill and artistry, noting, “The dancers are excellent, and the technical aspects are equally impressive.”
Since its founding in 2006, the company has presented an entirely new program each year, captivating audiences around the world.
Ms. Ajmechet noted that the performance conveys universally resonant values, such as the triumph of kindness over evil. “These are absolutely universal values, and everyone, in their own way, has a role to play in upholding them,” she said.
Reflecting on the overall experience, Ms. Ajmechet emphasized its emotional impact: “It truly is a performance that conveys both great beauty and a deep sense of tranquility at the same time.”
