PARIS—Computers “made in France”? Stephan Français has taken up the challenge by reviving the Thomson PC, the only European brand in this sector.
“The dancers were exceptional and there was a great dynamic,” said the man who holds a doctorate in political science on the development of a cooperation between France and China.
“There is something very strong in this show. There are only beautiful themes and beautiful attitudes.”
Mr. Français explains that he felt “a good feeling for to the soul and a real bliss that settles in little by little”.
For the founder of the French brand, Shen Yun “is a representative of all the beautiful values that humanity must develop and we should follow this pattern.”
‘Very Enriching’
Daniel Kerguen is a former surveyor. He found the show “culturally very enriching. It allows us to understand the different Chinese traditions. Aesthetically, it is magnificent! There is also a form of message to make people understand what China really is, beyond the current geopolitical considerations.”
For Laurent Léger, IT manager, Shen Yun is “frankly exceptional! It is magnificent. It’s very beautiful. I really love it,” he said.
He experienced “a kind of happiness, of appeasement, to watch these colors, these movements ... It’s mesmerizing”.
Didier Patin is a portfolio manager. “Exceptional and exceptional! A great discovery! I didn’t know the traditional Chinese dance at all and I discover it with wonder and a lot of enthusiasm,” he exclaimed.
Shen Yun means “the beauty of divine dancing beings,” paying tribute to the Chinese tradition. This reflected a belief that its glorious culture was brought down from above. People sought harmony among Heaven, Earth, and humankind, and followed the course of nature.
“We found truth and wisdom in the performances ... especially the one in the park and in one at the end which were very moving!”
“I would say you feel uplifted into something higher,” he concluded.
