KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—Mr. Wen Xinchun, former national policy advisor of the presidential office, and his wife, Mrs. Zhong Dengmei, attended the U.S.-based Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s fourth show in Kaohsiung on the afternoon of March 15, 2009. Mr. Wen told The Epoch Times, after seeing the first half of the show, “Shen Yun’s music was like melodies divinely created. The Shen Yun show was to help rectify human morality. It urged people to have righteous thoughts, and cultivate themselves physically and mentally, to get rid of the constraints of the secular world, and return to the divine world.”

Mr. Wen added that he liked the entire program, as each piece had very deep implications, which could help rectify human morality, and that more people should watch the show, since it would have a positive impact on people’s deeds.

After listening to the introduction by the emcees about the fact that all the music and dances were created by Shen Yun, he commented, “It probably took tremendous efforts to produce such a wonderful program. Dancers’ movements were perfectly harmonized. In order to have positive a impact on the society, good programs should be appreciated by more people. All in all, Shen Yun is to urge people to be good,” said Mrs. Wen, echoed her husband’s comments.

Mr. Wen said that he seldom saw performing arts shows, but after his friends’ introduction and his reading the brochure, he felt it would be worthwhile to see the show, so he decided to come. So pleased with the show, he said that he would invite more people to appreciate the show.

Mr. Wen Xingchun is chairman of the board of directors of the Mei-Ho Institute of Technology, and president of the Mei Ho Junior College of Nursing.
