“I love that they are paying so much attention to the symmetry and to the flow of the movement, and that they are connecting it also with the spiritual [and] with making the world a better place through dancing, through love,” said Ms. Hegyi. “I was really, really impressed. I really love it.”
Ms. Hegyi was impressed by the female dancers’ synchronicity, and her own experience in rhythmic gymnastics teams allowed her to appreciate the effort and training it takes to achieve that unity.
“I’m very impressed of their execution, their flexibility, of course, but also the symmetry and the flow of [their] movements in unison, because being with a team, it’s always entailing so much more work together,” said Ms. Hegyi. “They did excellent.”
Ms. Hegyi also commented on the male dancers’ energy.
“I loved the rhythm of the drums when the men came,” she said. “Oh my God, [there] was such a vibration in the whole room, on the chairs. It was that young energy when the [men] came, in the music and in the movement. It was amazing.”
“I really feel that I flow with the artists. I flow with them; I flow with the way they dance. I really love that extension of the arms. Those long arms, long sleeves, … it’s like they were flying. They were not even touching the earth anymore. They were flying [and] they took me with them. I really appreciated that.”
