Quickie Yoga Flow

Lean & Lovely yoga is all about being adaptable, intuitive, and honoring your body. It means embracing new challenges but also understanding that sometimes something is better than nothing. It’s for women who love to lift, love to sweat, want to be in touch with their bodies and hearts, and crave balance in all aspects of their lives.

Lean & Lovely yoga, is, at it’s heart, created for meatheads (which is why I’ve popularized the term #meatheadyogi on Instagram...go use it!). I developed my style of yoga for those of us who want to not only move freely and gracefully, but who want to lift heavy weights too.

And when you factor in wanting to do and perform all of those things, time is often an issue. It’s our only non-renewable resource, and often we just don’t have enough to go around. While I would love to spend 60-90 minutes at the yoga studio every single day, it just isn’t feasible.

Sometimes, all I have time for is a quickie.

Anyone can do this yoga quickie–beginner above and experienced meathead yogis alike. If you’re more experienced, add in some arm balances and inversions where you see fit. Maybe some handstand hops as you flow through the vinyasas, or bakasana (crow) in lieu of malasana (deep squat). It’s totes up to you, but either way this quickie flow will help you get your vinyasa on in just 10-12 minutes.

It’s a great flow to do in the morning before getting ready for work, or at night before sitting down to watch Scandal (Olivia Pope wants you to handle that yoga flow).
