I have a kidney stone that is stuck in the ureter. It’s not causing pain now, but I worry the pain will come back. How can I help it pass and prevent it from happening again?
Answer: Kidney stones can take several weeks or longer to pass. Make sure you are drinking enough fluids throughout the day. Aim for 8 to 10 8-ounce glasses (about 2 liters total) of fluid daily.
