Dog Food Recalled in 14 US States Due to Plastic Contamination

Fromm said it has identified the error that led to the contamination and is implementing additional corrective actions.

Wisconsin-based Fromm Family Foods is recalling 300 cases of dog food items due to the potential for plastic contamination, the company said in a Dec. 3 announcement published by the Food and Drug Administration.

The recall is applicable to 16 oz. Bonnihill BeefiBowls Beef Recipe frozen food with UPC code 072705135004 and a “Best By” date of Dec. 25, 2026.
