Appearances can sometimes be deceiving when it comes to the potential for obesity. Slender people can have high body fat percentages—these people fall under the category of a C-shape body type in the InBody machine test.

C-shape body types are represented by overweight and obese people as well as those who are under or overweight. In the case of a normal-weight person having a C-shape body type, they have low muscle mass and high body fat.
