When fresh fruit is in season, one of the most delightful dishes that can be easily pulled together for a quick and mouth watering snack is a fruit salad.  Light, refreshing, and satisfying to the sweet tooth, this is something you and the kids can enjoy in the sunbeam.

Purpose

The purpose of this recipe is to make the most out of fresh, local (if possible) fruit and combine it with a variety of flavours to give your mouth a burst of energy, and your body and mind as well.

Full of vitamin C, antioxidants, potassium, probiotics, and enzymes, it is a great way to start your day, or to enjoy in the mid afternoon heat.
