“Fine art at its best has the power to move one to tears, or grab your sensibilities and rivet you in the moment with an overwhelming sense of beauty and excitement,” Art Renewal Center (ARC) founder and chairman Fredrick Ross wrote in “The Philosophy of the ARC. Why Realism?”

Since 1999, the ARC has championed realist art. Some key activities undertaken by the New Jersey-based non-profit to promote realist art worldwide include its annual international salon and accompanying exhibition.
