ADELAIDE, Australia—Opening night of Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour was held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on April 6. The impressive venue, known for it’s modern architecture and exemplary acoustic qualities, came alive with the sights and sounds of ancient China.
In the audience was Hank, who works in the production department of an ethnic radio station, who had become aware of Shen Yun coming to Adelaide through the station’s promotion of the show. Hank came with his wife, Jan, and both agreed the show was well-produced and interesting.
“There’s a lot of variety in it,” said Jan, a school teacher, who especially enjoyed the dancing component.
“I like the dancing myself, so I’m particularly interested in dance. I’m very impressed by the depth of the techniques of the Chinese classical dance,” she added.
