‘Onegin’: American Ballet Theatre

Based on a 19th century verse-novel by master Russian poet Alexander Pushkin and accompanied by music from Tchaikovsky, this ballet tells the story of a Russian aristocrat who turns up his nose at the country girl who falls in love with him, only to have the tables turned on him later. Choreography by John Cranko.

‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’: NYC Ballet

Set to music by Felix Mendelssohn, the Shakespearean comedy of young love, faeries, and enchanted woods is brought to life by the city’s premiere ballet company. Choreography by George Balanchine. Two acts. Approximately 1 hour 34 minutes.
