Singer-songwriter Clay Walker is gearing up for one of his busiest years yet. He shared with The Epoch Times that his “Doin’ What I Love” national tour, kicking off in late January, will ultimately cover between 70 and 80 shows.
The 2026 tour is named after chorus lyrics from his massive 1994 hit, “If I Could Make a Living.” The hit single helped solidify Walker as a top performer for more than 30 years in the country music business. The feel-good tune focuses on the richness that loving someone can bring and the yearning to just be with the loved one. The chorus reflects the central point of the song’s message.
If I could make a living out of lovin’ you I’d be a millionaire in a week or two I’d be doin’ what I love and lovin’ what I do If I could make a living out of lovin’ you
For Walker, each new show date booked and new song produced comes from a deep love of music and a desire to share that music with his fans.
