Welcome Katherine H. Smith

TIMEAugust 14, 2015

The Epoch Times would like to give a warm welcome to our new advice columnist, Katherine H. Smith. Her weekly column, titled “Between You and Me,” will be appearing every Monday.

She will be answering letters from our readers about their lives and relationships.

Some of Katherine’s qualifications for taking on this challenging role include earning a B.A. and M.A. in comparative literature, an M.S.Ed. in guidance and counseling, a post-master’s degree in administration and supervision, an M.A. in marriage and family therapy, as well as post-graduate training in psychoanalytic group therapy and emotionally focused therapy for couples.

Since Katherine is not sure if she has enough degrees yet, she is now applying to law school.

She combines a great sense of humor with 46 years of life experience that includes raising five children, 18 years and counting of marriage, and a prior career as a high school English teacher and guidance counselor in the New York City public school system.

Please join me in welcoming Katherine to The Epoch Times family.

Any readers who want to participate can send their letters to Please include a contact phone number and e-mail address.
