The visit comes more than a month after Lai Ching-te, the current Taiwanese vice president, was elected to be Taiwan’s next president.

As the renowned, New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts is touring the world and reviving the 5,000 years of the traditional Chinese culture, more and more mainland Chinese people come to Taiwan especially to see the performance.

Though Legislator Yu Mei-nu attended Shen Yun performances in Taiwan for three consecutive years in the past, she still made it to the show presented by Shen Yun Performing Arts World Company on the evening of March 19, 2016.
