Glimmerglass Festival July 8–August 21, 2022
The annual music festival, which takes place on the western shore of beautiful Lake Otsego in Cooperstown, N.Y., includes favorites such as “Carmen” and “The Sound of Music,” and a world premiere of “Tenor Overboard” by comic playwright Ken Ludwig, featuring rare Rossini masterpieces.
