YUANLIN, Taiwan—After its debut last year, the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company once again presented at the Changhua County Yuanlin Performance Hall on April 6, 2010. When Shen Yun’s two additional shows were arranged to be performed in Yuanlin, Changhua last year, all of the tickets were sold out within three days. Local people are delighted to see Shen Yun come back to Yuanlin again. With a friends’ recommendation, Shi Benjue, standing board director of the Buddhist Association of Taiwan, also attended this Shen Yun performance. After seeing the show, he praised, “Seeing Shen Yum performance can enhance our wisdom.”

Touched by the New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts’ compassionate and exquisite illustration of the 5,000-year divinely imparted Chinese culture, he exclaimed, “The program Nothing Can Block the Divine Path, was very touching. Seeing this kind of performance can help us transform our wicked thoughts into righteous ones. It has the effect of heart-purification.”

He added, “Historical stories contain profound meanings. The sentiments of joy, anger, sadness and happiness depend on our mentalities. If our mentalities are righteous, we tend to do something good, and we are liable to do something bad if our mentalities are wicked. So, everything depends on our hearts. After seeing Shen Yun, many people are enlightened, and their mentalities may in turn be transformed from wicked into righteous.”

“With the development of technology, people have become more and more indifferent…Especially, today when the society is in such a chaotic situation, it is marvelous for people to see the performance like Shen Yun. It is really very touching,” Shi Benjue concluded.
