GOLD COAST, Australia—People from all walks of life flocked to The Arts Centre Gold Coast over the sunny and warm weekend to watch a Shen Yun Performing Arts performance. The Arts Theatre was the place to be over ANZAC holiday weekend, with five Shen Yun Performing Arts performances, between Thursday and Sunday, to choose from.

Shen Yun presents classical Chinese dance, an orchestra comprised of both Chinese and Western instruments, vocal soloists, and colorful backdrops and costumes, all in one evening.

With an all-new production, Shen Yun each year travels the world showcasing the beauty and gracefulness of classical Chinese dance as well as its highly challenging techniques such as flips and tumbles, while conveying essential traditional themes such as spiritual faith and courage, the triumph of good over evil, and humankind’s search for the meaning of life.

Here we have some audience members’ responses together with their photos for you to browse through.

From the Gold Coast, the Shen Yun International Company travels onto Perth, with performances May 1 – 4 at the Regal Theatre.
