DETROIT—Pat Flynn, owner of Flynn Benefits Group, came to the Detroit Opera House on Feb. 6 to see Shen Yun Performing Arts’ first of five performances in Motor City.

After seeing the performance Mr. Flynn commented on the dancing. He said, “I just thought it was very graceful, ... it was amazing. I never really seen anything like that.”

“Very spiritual so it was very nice,” he said.

According to Shen Yun’s website, the company endeavors to bring back China’s glorious traditional culture through music and dance.

Mr. Flynn commented, “Obviously it went through thousands of centuries ... you could see the strife and the how peace overcomes evil. Very interesting concepts there. Obviously, that will always comes true as today’s society evolves from centuries ago.”

Mr. Flynn mentioned how the show made him feel. He said, “I feel really good. It was very uplifting; it was very really nice.”

“I would probably say, It’s something you never have experienced.” Mr. Flynn said he'd explain to his friends. “You kind of just lose yourself in the performance so to speak, it’s pretty amazing.”

He would “absolutely” recommend the show.
