CHARLESTON, W. Va.—Local business owner Steve Neu enjoyed Shen Yun’s performance Wednesday calling it “fabulous.”

Mr. Neu and his wife attended Shen Yun Performing Arts, Wednesday, March 12 performance at the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia.

Mr. Neu said the performance was unlike anything he had ever seen before.

“I think it’s fabulous. I’ve never seen a show like this,” he said.

Mr. Neu, owner of BlindWizard, a window blinds cleaning and installation company, explained that tickets for the performance were a Valentine’s Day present for his wife.

“It’s a fabulous show. I love the dance. It’s great,” Mr. Neu said of Shen Yun Performing Arts.

Shen Yun performs classical Chinese dance and is accompanied by the group’s unique orchestra. The Shen Yun orchestra incorporates Chinese folk instruments into its midst as permanent members.

According to Shen Yun’s website the group’s mission is to revive the heritage of China’s ancient past.

Not deeply versed in Chinese culture, Mr. Neu said he found the performance intriguing, “I was intrigued just by seeing the ad, and I liked it, and I wanted to come and witness it, and it’s been great,” Mr. Neu said.
