Raines Law Room has opened a second location at The William in Midtown East.

The new outpost from Yves Jadot and Alberto Benenati will reflect the elegant design of the original location in Chelsea, inspired by the opulent European homes of the 19th century, with gold countertops, sheer-curtained booths, and chesterfield sofas. Guests can use the signature service bells at each table to call on staff.

The cocktail list created by head bartender Meaghan Dorman features classic drinks, including an old fashioned menu, which lets guests choose their own bitters, sweeteners, and spirits.

Cocktails include Pear of Aces with cachaça, spiced pear, cinnamon, lemon and angostura bitters; Violet Hour Tea with gin, chamomile liqueur, apricot and orange bitters and Sweater Weather with Tennessee whisky, local apple cider, lemon, orgeat and sherry.

Jason Hicks, chef and partner of The Peacock at The William, has created a menu of small plates, including Cider Pickled Pears with Northamptonshire Stilton and a port wine reduction; Scotch Egg created with Jones Wood IPA, served with grain mustard sauce; and Grilled Cheese “Teawich” with British cheddar, Stilton and jalapeño.
