A British beautician, who is 26 weeks pregnant with her fourth child, shared an emotional video from her hospital bed after contracting the CCP virus. While battling for her own life and the life of her unborn baby, she pleaded with others to “just stop going out.”

Thirty-nine-year-old Karen Mannering, from Herne Bay in Kent, England, developed pneumonia as a result of the CCP virus. As per a video posted on her Facebook page, on March 25, 2020, the beautician had already been sick for two weeks.
The Epoch Times refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Party’s coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.

“I have pneumonia in both lungs, and I’m fighting for me and my baby,” Mannering explained in the footage that she filmed of herself from the hospital bed at the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother hospital in Margate, Kent. She was clearly short of breath and paused after every few words.

“It’s not worth going out,” the distressed mom-to-be continued. “I have three kids at home and a husband that I can’t see.”

In her plea to warn others from going out, Mannering revealed that she didn’t know where, or from whom, she had contracted the virus, but maintained that she was “very ill.”

“I am telling you now, if you are going to meet your friends for a stupid beer or for a walk because the weather is nice, you are going to take this home and you are going to kill someone, one of your family members,” Mannering continued, pleading with others to take precautionary measures seriously.

Hot-Tees Tanning Beauty & Hair Salon in Canterbury, Kent, Mannering’s workplace, took to Facebook on March 25 to inform its clients of their beautician’s diagnosis and urged them to stay safe. They wrote, “To all of our customers at Hot-tees we regret to inform you that one of our members have been tested positive for Covid-19.”

They further added: “Please be safe and if you receive any of the symptoms please ring for medical advice.”

The World Health Organization has said there is no evidence to suggest that pregnant women are more susceptible to the CCP virus than the general population. Pregnant women are, however, vulnerable to fluctuations in their bodies and immune systems and could be severely affected by some respiratory infections.

As per the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, pregnant woman were declared “vulnerable” in the wake of the CCP virus outbreak by the chief medical officer on March 16, 2020. As such, pregnant women who are in their trimester have been advised to limit their social contact as much as possible as a precautionary measure.
Mannering advised others to take these measures seriously. “Just stop going out,” she said in her warning video filmed from her hospital bed. “Listen to Boris [Johnson, British Prime Minister] and just don’t go out. It’s not worth it.”
Mannering filmed an update video on March 26, one day after her initial tearful warning to others about the very real dangers of the virus. She had come off oxygen but was still struggling to breathe unassisted.

“So this is me managing to sit up,” Mannering said, “only for a minute but it’s a start. I have to do this now, push myself, because I’ve got to do this for me and the baby. I’ve got to.”

Just two days later, Mannering filmed another video, this time with a piece of encouraging news: she was being discharged from the hospital and would continue her recovery at home. The expectant mom was allowed to return home on March 28 under the proviso that she remain in isolation for a period of seven days.

“I get to go home and see my babies’ faces,” Mannering shared in a video update. “I can’t touch them, I can’t kiss them still, but I get to go home. I’m so excited.”

She further added: “I’ve got a long road ahead of me still to recover but I’m coming home and I thought I'd tell you all.”

As per the Mirror, Mannering is expecting her baby boy in June.
