Painter Wowed by Shen Yun’s Use of Colors
Mark Gleberzon (R) and Ner Leite attended Shen Yun’s performance at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto on Jan. 5, 2018. “It’s a beautiful show,” said Mr. Leite. (Dongyu Teng/The Epoch Times)

“It’s beautifully done and choreographed. And just the colors, the movement of colors ... it’s beautiful. I’m an artist, so I appreciate all the colors.”

“Obviously China always had a beautiful, rich history of colour, knowing the ceramics and the water colour paintings. It’s beautiful, and to see it here in life, it’s quite nice.”

“The women with the long sleeves [“Han Dynasty Sleeves”], to see [the sleeves] flying in the air and then just the break of the colours—the pinks with the blues and the greens—it really is beautiful just to see that movement. And I guess it’s silk fabrics that are being used, so just the way that they hold and stay in the air as the women are holding and throwing their arms up into the air that the fabric follows them—it’s really quite beautiful to see that.”
