One-Eyed Man Adopts Matching One-Eyed Dog
Jordan Trent, 32, is a man from Georgetown, Texas, who lost vision in his left eye doing yard work at the age of 15.
One day, Jordan and his family went to a market, where a man was selling puppies. The man had sold all but one puppy, which nobody wanted. Jordan was not planning on getting a puppy that day, but then he found out why nobody wanted this puppy.
The puppy only had one working eye.
The fit was too good to be true. Jordan’s kids convinced him to get the dog due to their similarity, and the dog was thus adopted and named Shiner Solo.
“Sometimes he’ll run into things and you can tell he has some problem with his depth persecution, as do I. He’s playful, loves to be held, has the cutest little bark and gets along great with the whole family,” said Jordan to Bored Panda.
