Madame Wine, a Paris-based bespoke wine concierge company, is bringing its services to North America for the first time. The company seeks to offer its clients—whether private or professional, amateur or veteran—more personalized, long-term guidance in building their wine and spirits knowledge and collections.
Founder Sophia Zaïme started Madame Wine in 2014, bringing with her experience and contacts, both in France and across the globe, from six years in the wine industry. She has also trained with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London. After four years operating in Europe, “now, with our network, we can operate all over the world,” Zaïme said.
Madame Wine’s bespoke services include private cellar curation and management; event services; wine tourism concierge services; and exclusive retreats to private wineries, vineyards, and chateaux across Europe. Visitors to Paris are also welcome to the Madame Wine Tasting Lounge, near the Champs-Elysées, for an in-person tasting, available by appointment for individuals and small groups.
An e-commerce site, where customers can shop for wine based on “moods” from “girls’ night out” to “perfect gifts for the connoisseur,” is set to launch this fall.
