TAIPEI, Taiwin—“Wow! It was just too good. It was so harmonious, the epitome of perfection.” Consultant to the president of the New Light Insurance agency, Li Kuirong said, after seeing Divine Performing Arts (DPA) in Taipei on Feb. 26.

It was the company’s second performance in the city, and Li said he had no way to use ordinary language to describe DPA’s wonderful show.

Li Kuirong and his wife enjoyed the DPA show. When asked, Li’s wife was by his side, and had been clearly taken by the program: “It’s just so good to see; the more I see it, the better it is!”

Li explained that he is a reader of The Epoch Times, and that that is where he saw the advertisement for DPA and learned about its successful tour around the world. He said after seeing that the company has earned its reputation, and that it truly touches audience members. He said, laughing happily: “I got even more out of coming here in person to see the show than reading the reports about it!”

He said that he liked every performance and appreciated how the backdrops matched with the changes in the storyline of each program: “It’s truly vivid.”

About the performance with Mulan, he said: “The actor is gifted both intellectually and physically. Mulan, the soft, virtuous warrior, gave an exciting, thorough display of perseverance and courage. I have heard the story of Mulan’s replacing her father in battle since I was little.” Then Li used a Chinese phrase meaning “What’s repeated a lot can be recounted in detail,” and said, “It really gives people a profound impression.”

Li Kuirong is currently a consultant at Shin Kong Insurance. He said that he believes life should not be for chasing after money and fame, but for things with more meaning. After seeing tonight’s performance, he believes he can take worldly reputation and benefit more lightly, and now plans to be a volunteer to contribute to society and do something more meaningful.
