Grand Banks, a seasonal oyster bar, opens in an unusual location: the historic Sherman Zwicker, a museum-quality schooner that fished the Grand Banks of the North Atlantic.
The menu, which changes daily, includes sustainably sourced oysters as well as nautically inspired cocktails and beverages.
Now docked at Pier 25 in Hudson River Park in Tribeca, Grand Banks also presents exhibits on maritime history and a lecture series about topics ranging from seafaring culture to sustainable aquaculture.
