Flight, a gastropub on the Upper East Side, has recently opened.

Dermot Kelly and Taukiv Azam are the restaurateurs behind the project. Executive chef Golam has created an eclectic menu that includes classic dishes as well as dishes with an Asian inflection.

Dishes include Slider Flight (sirloin burger, grouper, and pork sliders with fries), Barnyard Flight (filet mignon, rack of lamb, southern fried chicken, with mashed potatoes and vegetables), and Thai-Style Curry Chicken.

Flights of global wines, whiskey, and craft beers are offered, besides the selection of liquors and cocktails.

A glass-enclosed dining area is located at the front. Oak tables and mahogany chairs, and leather banquettes are overseen by images of what else—birds and pilots in flight.

Open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
