Fagradalsfjall

This year was marked by numerous eruptions of volcanoes, with two topping the charts in terms of media attention and interest from the volcanologists: the Fagradalsfjall in Iceland and the Cumbre Vieja in La Palma, Spain. As usual, Etna and Stromboli continued to erupt, but more unusual volcanic events happened as well.
