The Boston Bruins bring out the best in the Montreal Canadiens. Arguably the NHL’s greatest rivalry has been decidedly one-sided in favor of the Habs.

The Blackhawks and Bruins have yet to play one another in 2013; this meeting in the Stanley Cup final represents the first Original 6 matchup since 1979.

The Boston Bruins once again dominated the Vancouver Canucks in TD Garden, winning 5—1 in Game Six.

Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals returned to Boston where the Bruins were in a must-win situation, trailing the Carolina Hurricanes 3—1.

Well, since I proved my skills as a hockey playoff prognosticator (“Long Road to Stanley Cup Underway,” April 17), I thought I'd take a crack at a couple of second-round match-ups.

For me, the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs is the most exciting.
