From wine classes to hands-on pasta making lessons, various businesses at Chelsea Market are offering culinary instruction.

At Giovanni Rana, pasta-making classes ($75–$85 per person) include welcome drinks, hands-on lessons, and a seated meal. Most of the classes are taught by co-owner Antonella Rana. Options include family and children-only classes. Bilingual classes are also offered.

In October alone, Amy’s Bread offers a variety of classes for bread-baking enthusiasts: Maximizing Flavor from Locally Sourced Wheat with Zach Golper of Bien Cuit (Oct. 20), Handmade Thin-Crust Pizza (Oct. 21), A Pocketful of Rye-Danish Rye Breads with Sharon Burns of Bread Alone (Oct 22), The Pretzel! A New Twist on Classic Street Food with Melissa Weller (Oct. 27), and Bread Basics: Begin With the Baguette (Oct. 29). Prices range from $95–$125 per class.

Wines classes will also be offered at Chelsea Market Wine Vault, with tastings at Weekend Wine School ($25) and Friday Night Flights every Friday (also $25). Chelsea Market’s latest tenant, Corkbuzz Wine Bar, will also offer wine classes soon.
