Cosme, a restaurant from world-renowned Chef Enrique Olvera, opens on Oct. 28 in the Flatiron District.

Olvera uses local and seasonal ingredients to create a menu focused on Mexican flavors and traditions. Mexican specialties such as heirloom corn and dried chilies will be imported.

Dishes include: burrata and weeds; mushroom and potato barbacoa with avocado leaf adobo; and lobster sopes.

Cosme offers a full bar, and the beverage menu focuses on artisanal spirits, including curated mescals and tequilas. More than 70 wines are available.

The 3,500-square-foot restaurant seats approximately 130 guests, and the main dining room and bar room each seat about 65.

Cosme is named after a Mexico City market where Olvera’s grandfather used to take him as a child.
