A criminal network has used a major online ad campaign to trick investors out of their money in a scam that affected people in 25 countries including Australia.
In 2009, Fiji had only 148 drug-related policing cases (including arrests for cocaine and heroin). But by 2018, this had risen to almost 1,400 arrests.
‘I had some good police officers who knew straight away, and they saw what was going on, but they couldn’t ... say it out loud,’ Anne-Marie Brady said.
‘Every single thing that we can do to help to keep kids in school, and help schools keep them there is the solution,’ said the co-director of Wejustice.
